PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving measuring accuracy of a magnetic field by controlling a light volume of pumping light for each cell in a magnetic field measuring device for measuring the magnetic field while a plurality of cells are arranged adjacently.SOLUTION: The magnetic field measuring device includes a sensor array where a plurality of cells, each containing an atom group comprising atoms excited by circularly polarized light, are arranged a magnetic field detection unit that radiates, to each cell, pumping light containing circularly polarized light component and radiates probe light containing linearly polarized light component so as to cross the pumping light adjustment units for adjusting the light volume of the pumping light incident to respective cells according to an input control signal and a storage unit for storing an adjustment quantity of the adjustment unit for each cell. When measuring the magnetic field from a sample, the magnetic field measuring device inputs the control signal based on each adjustment quantity stored in the storage unit to each adjustment unit, controls the light volume of pumping light incident to each cell, and detects the magnetic field with a magnetic field detection unit.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】複数のセルを並べて磁場を計測する磁場計測装置において、各セルのポンプ光の光量を制御して磁場の測定精度を向上させる技術を提供する。【解決手段】磁場計測装置は、円偏光によって励起される原子からなる原子群を含むセルを複数配列したセンサーアレイと、各セルに対して円偏光成分を有するポンプ光を照射すると共に直線偏光成分を有するプローブ光をポンプ光と交差するように照射し、各セルを透過したプローブ光を受光して各セルにおける磁場を検出する磁場検出部と、入力された制御信号に応じて各セルに入射するポンプ光の光量を調整する調整部と、セル毎に各調整部の調整量を記憶する記憶部とを有する。磁場計測装置は、検体からの磁場を計測する際、記憶部に記憶された各調整量に基づく制御信号を各調整部に入力し、各セルに入射するポンプ光の光量を制御して磁場検出部により磁場を検出する。【選択図】図1
