The heat and light blocking agent of the present invention, as a heat and light blocking agent which is sprayed to form a light shielding layer on a surface of a plastic greenhouse or a glass greenhouse, the heat and light blocking agent including a UV blocking agent and an adhesive, comprises: 25 to 35 wt% of mica 5 to 15 wt% of limestone 5 to 15 wt% of the UV blocking agent 2 to 7 wt% of an ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) adhesive 5 to 40 wt% of a thickening agent 1 to 2 wt% of a dispersant 30 to 35 wt% of water and 1 to 2 wt% of a preservative. The heat and light blocking agent according to the present invention is a heat and light blocking agent which can be applied onto a plastic greenhouse or the like by comprising mica as a main material which not only is environmentally friendly, but also facilitates an operation by having excellent light and heat blocking properties and a lower specific gravity than those of other materials and by further comprising limestone added to mica at a predetermined ratio, thereby preparing the heat and light blocking agent.
