PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiographic apparatus performing radiography suited to the purposes of examination by grasping the cycle of respiration of a subject accurately.
SOLUTION: In the radiographic apparatus, dynamic image radiography is first carried out with a low dose to acquire the real-time detection data L, and then still image radiography for diagnosis is carried out with a high dose to acquire the quiescence detection data S. An X-ray tube controller 6 determines the timing of starting X-ray irradiation through the dynamic image radiography and then carries out the still image radiography, or the real radiography. Thus, the timing of the still image radiography is determined while fluoroscopically watching an actual lung, to carry out still image radiography in a desired expanded state of the lung of the subject. That is, two still images picked up at different times may be compared in order to observe variations of a disease condition of the subject, thereby to recognize variations of the disease condition properly.
