The invention relates to immunogenic compositions comprising recombinant multimeric influenza proteins or parts thereof fused to a streptavidin affinity tag, preferably recombinant trimeric influenza virus hemagglutinin and/or recombinant tetrameric influenza virus neuraminidase, or vectors comprising nucleic acid sequences encoding such influenza proteins.
