The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, containing a Quisaqualis indica extract as an active ingredient, for preventing or treating prostatic hyperplasia, and to a food composition. According to the present invention, the Quisaqualis indica extract of the present invention can be favorably used to treat and prevent prostatic hyperplasia by exhibiting effects of a reduction in prostate weight, a reduction in DHT as a prostatic hyperplasia inducing factor, and a reduction in prostate epithelial cell hyperplasia.La présente invention se rapporte à une composition pharmaceutique, contenant un extrait de Quisaqualis indica en tant que principe actif, pour prévenir ou traiter l'hyperplasie prostatique, et à une composition alimentaire. Selon la présente invention, ledit extrait de Quisaqualis indica peut être utilisé de manière bénéfique pour traiter et prévenir l'hyperplasie prostatique en montrant des effets de réduction du poids de la prostate, de réduction de la DHT en tant que facteur induisant l'hyperplasie prostatique, et de réduction de l'hyperplasie des cellules épithéliales de la prostate.본 발명은 사군자 추출물을 유효성분으로 함유하는 전립선 비대증 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물, 및 식품 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 본 발명의 사군자 추출물은 전립선의 무게 감소, 전립선 비대증 유발인자인 DHT의 감소, 및 전립선의 상피세포 과증식의 감소 효과를 나타냄으로써 전립선 비대증의 치료 및 예방에 유용하게 이용될 수 있다.
