Systems, methods, anddevices are described related to the assignmentand management of patient-specific bins.A dispensing device at a healthcare facilitymay include a number of bins for storageof medical supplies, with some of thebins designated as patient-specific binsallocated to be assigned to patients forstorage of their medications or certain othersupplies. A central server computer system,in communication with a computer of thedispensing device, may monitor and assigncurrent and future patient-specific use of thebins for the dispensing device. The assignmentand management of patient-specific bins maybe performed by devices distributed throughthe system.
