PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a SQUID fluxmeter and a method for adjusting a balance of a gradiometer for easily adjusting a balance between a first pickup coil and a second pickup coil and for efficiently detecting a feeble magnetic field.
SOLUTION: The SQUID fluxmeter for inputting a magnetic flux generated from a biomagnetic field through the gradiometer are provided with: the gradiometer having the first pickup coil and the second pickup coil which are wound at a prescribed distance in an axial direction of a concentric coil bobbin and a superconducting member which is adjacent to the first pickup coil or the second pickup coil in the coil bobbin and is disposed in a manner to adjust the position outside the coil bobbin.
