A wipe to stimulate a person. The wipe is permeated with a smelling salt solution. The smelling salt solution delivers an effective amount of ammonium gas to stimulate the respiratory system of the person. The smelling salt solution delivers an effective amount of alcohol to provide a cooling sensation on the skin. The wipe is contained in a container impermeably to prevent evaporation of the smelling salt solution and to delay transformation of the smelling salts solution to ammonium gas until the container may be opened by the person.
