PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA having a promoter for specifically expressing a target gene in a vascular bundle, to provide a recombinant plasmid which contains the DNA and can express the target gene in the vascular bundle, and to provide a transformed plant in which the recombinant plasmid is transduced. SOLUTION: This DNA comprises a specific base sequence originating from rice. The DNA comprises the base sequence in which one or several bases are deleted, replaced or added and which has a promoter activity for specifically expressing the target gene in the vascular bundle.
