PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sponge plate washer which can correct the conveyance position of a sponge plate in the way the forward edge of the sponge plate is orthogonal to the conveyance direction, during conveying the sponge plate.SOLUTION: This sponge plate washer is equipped with a pair of supply-side squeeze rollers 6 which are rotatable normally/reversely, a pair of discharge-side squeeze rollers 7 which are rotatable normally/reversely and a pair of feed rollers 8 which are positioned between the supply-side squeeze roller pair 6 and the discharge-side squeeze roller pair 7. In addition, the distance between the supply-side squeeze roller pair 6 and the discharge-side squeeze roller pair 7 is longer than the length, in the conveyance direction, of the sponge plate 5. Besides, the distance between the supply-side squeeze roller pair 6 and the feed roller pair 8, and the distance between the discharge-side squeeze roller pair 7 and the feed roller pair 8, are shorter than the length, in the conveyance direction, of the sponge plate 5 respectively.
