The invention provides aqueous liquid pharmaceutical compositions comprising arbekacin and chloride ions. The compositions are well tolerable for use in a method for treatment or prevention of a disease of the upper or lower respiratory tract, wherein the composition is aerosolized and inhaled by the patient.
