PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that a fishing line is hardly detached from a line locking tool in an inexpensive and simple structure.SOLUTION: A line locking tool 70 is fitted to a spool 4 of a spinning reel. The line locking tool 70 comprises: a fitting part 72 that can be fitted to the spool 4 and a locking tool body 74 that is provided on the fitting part 72 and locks a fishing line FL between itself and a surface of the spool 4. The locking tool body 74 comprises a fitting end part 76, an introduction end part 78, and a movement restriction part 80. The fitting end part 76 is an end part that is provided with the fitting part 72 and has a first width W1 in a circumferential direction of the spool 4. The introduction end part 76 is an end part to which the fishing line FL is introduced.
