This massage device (1) is provided with a drive unit (10) for generating a rotational drive force, a first massage mechanism (11) for performing massage of a part to be treated of a user, a second massage mechanism (12) for performing a different massage than the first massage mechanism (11), and a power transmission mechanism (13) for enabling the rotational drive force of the drive unit (10) to be transmitted to the first massage mechanism (11) and the second massage mechanism (12), the massage device (1) characterized in that the power transmission mechanism (13) is configured so as to transmit rotational drive force to both the first massage mechanism (11) and the second massage mechanism (12) when a rotational drive force in a forward direction is generated by the drive unit (10), and to perform power transmission to only the first massage mechanism (11) when a rotational drive force in a reverse direction is generated by the drive unit (10).
