PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for maintaining, improving or increasing the kinetic vision in exercise, safe and effective even in long term use and including extract derived from an animal as an active ingredient, wherein the composition can be incorporated into medicines and foods (including functional foods and beverages) as an active ingredient for maintaining, improving or increasing the kinetic vision in exercise.SOLUTION: As the active ingredient of a composition for maintaining, improving or increasing kinetic vision in exercise, at least one kind selected from an imidazole compound, a guanidine compound, branched-chain amino acid, organic acid, and their constituting ingredients, derivatives and degradation products obtained from animal-derived extract obtained from the meat, bone or skin of fishes, amphibians, reptilies, birds or mammals is used.
