[Problem] To provide a medical instrument having a novel structure that can prevent the circulation of a liquid between an inner layer side and an outer layer side of a peripheral wall part. [Solution] This medical instrument 10 includes a body part 20 in which a center hole 22 and a radially outward space 23 are partitioned by a tubular peripheral wall part 22. The peripheral wall part includes at least: a first layer 30 on which a hydrophilic member 33, in which a hydrophilic coating 32 is formed on a first base part 31, is disposed； and a second layer 40 on which a hydrophobic member 43, in which a hydrophobic coating 42 is formed on a second base part 41, is disposed. The peripheral wall part is formed by laminating the first layer and the second layer in a radial direction.
