PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for cultivating plants are provided to effectively cultivate crops by comprising each lighting facility at leaves, stems, and roots. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for cultivating plants comprises: a horizontal frame(101) which is formed in a multistep； a crop fixing plate(104) which is formed between the frame and fixes a stem； a transparent water bath(105) which is formed at the lower portion of the crop fixing plate and is filled with a solution； an upper growth promoting lamp(102) which is mounted at the lower portion of the horizontal frame and irradiates leaves and stems with light； and a lower growth promoting lamp(103) which is mounted at the upper portion of the horizontal frame and irradiates roots by light.본 발명은 잎 또는 줄기와, 뿌리에 각기 다른 성질의 성장 촉진광을 조사함으로써 다양한 작물을 효과적으로 재배할 수 있는 상,하부 성장 촉진램프를 이용한 식물 재배장치에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 의한 상,하부 성장 촉진램프를 이용한 식물 재배방법은 줄기가 작물고정판에 고정된 식물의 상부 부분인 잎과 줄기에는 상부 성장 촉진램프를 조사하고, 줄기가 작물고정판에 고정되어 양액에 담겨진 식물의 뿌리 부분에는 하부 성장 촉진램프를 조사하여 식물을 재배하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
