PURPOSE: A co-crystal of an agomelatine is provided to ensure accelerated or retarded elution rate. CONSTITUTION: A co-crystal of an agomelatine comprises an agomelatine or N-(2-(7-methoxy-1-naphthyl)ethyl)acetamide represented by chemical formula 1, and an organic acid which is in a solid state at ambient temperature. The organic acid is a para-hydroxybenzoic acid, a citric acid, an oxalic acid, a gallic acid, a maleic acid, a malonic acid, a glutaric acid, a glycolic acid, or a ketoglutaric acid.
