PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound unit 30 which is easily manufactured.SOLUTION: The ultrasound unit 30 includes: an ultrasound array 40 having a plurality of ultrasound elements 20 with a rectangular first main surface on which a transmitter/receiver 60, a signal electrode terminal 52, and a ground electrode terminal 51 are disposed in the long side direction, the respective long sides of the ultrasound elements 20 being connected at least one short circuit wire 41 that is connected to a plurality of ground electrode terminals 51 a ground wire 43 that is connected to the short circuit wire 41 and a plurality of signal wires 42 each of which is connected to a single signal electrode terminal 52.
