Method of connecting an electronic component to an agricultural implement configured to perform an agricultural operation, includes steps of: providing an electronic component having a component type identifier, which includes information which identifies the electronic component and information relating to the capabilities of the electronic component; providing seeder having multiple sockets for sowing sections and a driving module, and an electronic communication line configured to connect the electronic component to the agricultural implement; automatic detection of electronic connection from electronic component by means of electronic communication line; transmitting a component type identifier to a master module for identifying the connected electronic component and capabilities of the electronic component for performing at least one agricultural operation; and supplying working commands to electronic component at least partially based on component type identifier. System for connecting an electronic component to an agricultural implement comprises an electronic communication line configured to electronically connect the electronic component and the agricultural implement, component type identifier, stored in form of data associated with electronic component, including information, which identifies electronic component and information relating to capabilities of electronic component for performing at least one agricultural operation, and master module.
