There is provided a medical assistance device capable of improving handling or an operation of a medical device. A medical assistance device 4 is connected to a medical device 51 which is inserted into a biological lumen and is used in a procedure in the biological lumen. The medical assistance device 4 includes a support 41, a winding unit 42 which is rotatably provided about a support shaft 411 with respect to the support 41 and winds the medical device 51, and a connection section 43 which is provided in the winding unit 42 and is connected to an end portion of the medical device 51.
