To provide a high frequency treatment tool capable of achieving preferable bleeding stop of a biological tissue.SOLUTION: A high frequency treatment tool comprises, on a tip end part, a scalpel for a high frequency treatment tool comprising a pair of scissors 10 and being used for incision of a biological tissue. The pair of scissors 10 rotate in a direction where they come close to each other for shearing a biological tissue. Each of the pair of scissors 10 comprises: a blade surface 13; a slide contact surface 14 at which the scissors slide contact each other; an outside surface 15 which is a rear surface to the slide contact surface 14; and an inclined surface 16 which is provided between the outside surface 15 and the blade surface 13. The inclined surface 16 is inclined to a direction where the scissors are separated from the other scissors, from the slide contact surface 14 side to the outside surface 15 side. A surface of each of the pair of scissors 10 comprises a formation region of a non-conductive layer (insulative coat 12) and an electrode region 19 on which the non-conductive layer is not formed.
