A discharge nozzle 10 for dispensing slurry comprises an elongate slot 18 like outlet opening. Ideally, the opening is a longitudinal slot along the nozzle length, with the sides of the slot being provided with two walls / flanges 20, 22. Preferably, the nozzle is made of a deformable material to allow agglomerated slurry to easily pass through, and preventing clogging. The nozzle may take the form of a flexible elastomeric boot which is attached to an end of a discharge pipe 12. Ideally a ridge 26 is provided on the nozzle, the ridge serving to spread foliage while the slurry, e.g. flowable manure, is dispensed. Additionally, a slot forming tool (60, figure 7) may be attached to the nozzle to cut a groove in the soil. An independent claim relates to an agricultural vehicle, preferably having a tanker, with several slurry dispensing nozzles arranged on a transversely extending spray boom, the arm / boom being pivotable to be folded.
