PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing equipped with a handle that allows a gripping feeling to be adjusted, and is excellent in operability with gripping and holding properties excellent in easiness of gripping and a fit feeling of gripping and holding, and to provide a handle operation knob thereof.SOLUTION: A reel for fishing of the present invention includes a roughly T-shaped operation knob 40 composed of a spindle 31 rotatably provided to the end part of a handle arm 30 connected to a drive shaft of a reel body 1 and a grip part 32 attached to the spindle 31.
