The present invention relates to a peptide for targeting mitochondria, a recombinant vector including the peptide, a method for moving target proteins to mitochondria in order to be distributed using the same, and to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating diseases accompanying mitochondria hypofunction using the same. An amino acid sequence of sequence number 1 in the present invention is targeted to mitochondria so that a peptide including the same can move and distribute a material (compound, protein, gene) exhibiting pharmacological activities in mitochondria. Moreover, the peptide having the amino acid sequence of sequence number 1 serves as a target sequence for moving a particular material to mitochondria.
