A method of simulating feeding movement of a waterfowl decoy in a body ofwaterincludes rotating a shaft of a motor of the decoy from a resting position to afirst feedingposition to cause the decoy to move from a horizontal position to a verticalposition,from the first feeding position to a second feeding position to cause thedecoy to movefrom the vertical position to a position between the horizontal position andthe firstfeeding position, from the second feeding position to the first feedingposition to causethe body of the decoy to move from the position between the horizontalposition and thefirst feeding position back to the vertical position, and from the first orsecond feedingposition back to the resting position thereby causing the body of the decoy tomoveback to the resting position.
