PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel itch inhibitor.SOLUTION: The invention provides an itch inhibitor containing dimer dilinoleic acid diethylene glycol oligomer ester as an active ingredient. The ratio of dimer dilinoleic acid and diethylene glycol which constitute the dimer dilinoleic acid diethylene glycol oligomer ester is dimer dilinoleic acid:diethylene glycol=0.5 mol:1.0 mol to 0.8 mol:1.0 mol. The viscosity at 25°C is 2,500-4,500 mPa s. The itch inhibitor contains 5-30 mass% of the dimer dilinoleic acid diethylene glycol oligomer ester.
