Further disclosed is a method for producing the sustained-release formulation as defined above, comprising producing a water / oil emulsion composed of an internal water phase, which contains a compound represented by Formula: Ac-D-Tyr-Hyp-Asn-Thr-Phe-AzaGly-Leu-Arg(Me)-Trp-NH2 or a salt thereof, and an oil phase, which contains a lactic acid-glycolic acid copolymer or a salt thereof, further emulsifying the W/O emulsion to obtain a W/O/W emulsion, and subjecting the W/O/W emulsion to an in-water-drying method.
