PURPOSE: Alcohol free water soluble propolis nano powder and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to treat diabetes by manufacturing propolis of a nano size, and to reduce activity of &alpha；-glucosidase. CONSTITUTION: Concentrated propolis is manufactured by removing a solvent after filtering a propolis solution by dissolving a propolis raw material in alcohol(S101). The concentrated propolis and emulsion including a water-in-oil surfactant are used for manufacturing water soluble emulsion propolis. The water soluble emulsion propolis and an excipient are mixed. The excipient is cyclodextrin. The cyclodextrin is &beta；-cyclodextrin.무알코올 수용성 프로폴리스 나노 파우더 및 그 제조 방법이 개시된다. (a) 프로폴리스(Propolis) 원괴를 알코올에 용해시켜 제조된 프로폴리스 용액을 여과한 후, 상기 여과된 프로폴리스 용액의 용매를 제거하여 농축 프로폴리스를 제조하는 단계, (b) 상기 농축 프로폴리스와 유중수적형(Water in oil type) 계면활성제를 포함하는 에멀젼(Emulsion) 을 배합하여 수용성 에멀젼 프로폴리스를 제조하는 단계 및 (c) 상기 수용성 에멀젼 프로폴리스와 부형제를 배합한 후, 상기 부형제와 배합된 수용성 에멀젼 프로폴리스를 냉동 및 건조한 후 분쇄하는 단계를 포함하는 무알코올 수용성 프로폴리스 나노 파우더 제조 방법을 이용하여, 플라보노이드의 함량이 높고 수용성이며 나노 사이즈인 프로폴리스를 제조할 수 있으며 이를 당뇨병 치료에 이용할 수 있다.
