PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a riding type rice planter which has a frame laterally extending at a rear part of a driving seat so that seedlings are easily supplied to a seedling planting device.SOLUTION: A fertilize hopper 21 of a fertilize device is arranged at a rear part of a driving seat 3, and a lateral frame F is arranged above the fertilize hopper 21 so as to cover the fertilize hopper 21. A rid 21A of the fertilize hopper 21 is openable/closable by swinging around an open/close axis X as a center. The lateral frame F is swingably supported at the rear side so that its front part can be lifted by swinging around a swinging axis P as a center.
