PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subjective optometer which can accurately measure the visual function of a subject eye without inviting an incorrect measurement of the visual function of the subject eye resulting from the fact that an examiner does not accurately memorize the visibility of each visual target of the subject eye, and the rotation direction of a dial in response to the visibility for each visual target.
SOLUTION: A state image 42 indicates a shape enough to be viewed by the subject eye of each visual target 11 being used for an examination to be executed. The state image 42 is displayed on a displaying screen 32 for each kind of the examination while corresponding to a direction supporting image 40 which corresponds to a direction in which a dial 30 should be rotated in order to correct the visual function of the subject eye in response to the visibility for each visual target 11.
