A sealing arrangement (20) for use in a patient interface device (18). The assembly includes a flexible member (30) having a sealing surface (30A) structured to engage a surface of the patient at or about the airway, a first magnetic material disposed in or on the flexible member, and a second magnetic material (36) positioned in one or more of a carrier member structured to be removably positioned on, in, or about the patient, and a portion of the patient interface device. The first and second magnetic materials are positioned and structured to magnetically interact in a manner which urges the sealing surface toward the surface of the patient when the flexible member is disposed at or about the airway and the second magnetic material is disposed at a corresponding position.L'invention porte sur un agencement d'étanchéité (20) destiné à être utilisé dans un dispositif d'interface patient (18).
