PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device capable of compactifying while maintaining a deodorizing function.SOLUTION: A private part washing device 3 functioning as a deodorizing device installed at the rear part of a bowl 4 of a toilet bowl body 2 comprises: a base 8 having a blowout port 33 opened laterally in an obliquely downward direction and a cover 11 covering the base 8 so as to form a space above the base 8. The cover 11 shields at least a part of the blowout port 33 in a side view.
