To provide a transfer device capable of being quickly recovered in causing troubles to achieve efficient automatic operation, and a cultivation system operated by using the transfer device.SOLUTION: A transfer device which has a transfer unit moving in a frontage direction of a storage shelf having plural housing parts arranged side by side vertically and horizontally and going up and down in a height direction and which transfers an object to be transferred to the housing parts by the transfer unit includes: a camera disposed in the transfer unit； a first memory for sequentially storing images outputted from the camera； a second memory for storing the images； and a state input unit for accepting input of a signal showing a state of action of the transfer device.
