PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely obtain biological information on health condition of a person who takes a bath.SOLUTION: A bathing monitoring system 10 is a system for monitoring the health condition or motion status of the person 20 who takes a bath in a bathroom. The bathing monitoring system includes a sensor unit 40 provided in a bathtub 30 and a control unit 50 provided outside the bathroom to receive an oscillation detecting signal detected by the sensor unit 40 and decide an abnormal condition, and inform about the abnormality when the abnormal condition is decided. The sensor unit 40 includes, a portable terminal 42 communicating with the control unit 50 and oscillation detecting means 46 connected to the portable terminal 42 through a cable 44.
