A process for the preparation of a biocatalyst of plant biomass present in the silage for livestock feeding. The process comprises mixing flour hydrolysate with one or more sugars, minerals, aminoacids, propolis and vitamins and warer, fermenting the mixture with Saccharomyces cerevisiae and pasteurizing the fermentation broth.The biocatalyst that can be obtained by the process is used for promoting lactic fermentation, and can be used as an additive for animal and livestock food.
