Agent (I), for treating microorganisms, comprises a mixture of fatty acid ester of polyol and the salts of short-chained monocarbonic acid. ACTIVITY : Antimicrobial Antibacterial Fungicide Virucide Antiseborrheic Dermatological. The ability of (I) treat against microorganisms was tested against Malassezia furfur using biological assays. The results showed that the count of the microorganism was less than 10/ml after 24 hours of treatment. MECHANISM OF ACTION : None given.
