A titanium oxide photocatalytic sol coated with a photocatalytic sol is prepared by adding an additive selected from hexamethylene tetramine, tungstic acid, AgO, CuO and ZnO to acid and adding the mixture to the photocatalytic sol. The coated titanium oxide photocatalytic sol is applied to the artificial intraocular lens.
