The present disclosure uses a protein having 4′-phosphopantetheinyltransferase activity that catalyzes post-translational modification of a peptide sequence (“peptide tag”) incorporated at one or more specific sites of an antibody of interest. Thus, a method for site-specific labeling of an antibody is provided. Enzymatic labels allow for quantitative and irreversible covalent modification of specific serine residues within the peptide tag incorporated into the antibody, thus creating the desired antibody conjugate.本開示は、対象とする抗体の１つまたは複数の特定部位に組み込まれたペプチド配列（「ペプチドタグ」）の翻訳後修飾を触媒する４’－ホスホパンテテイニルトランスフェラーゼ活性を有するタンパク質を使用して、抗体を部位特異的に標識する方法を提供する。酵素標識によって、抗体に組み込まれたペプチドタグ内の特異的セリン残基の定量的および不可逆的共有結合修飾が可能となり、したがって、所望の抗体コンジュゲートが創製される。
