PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device, performing identification display on a time scale corresponding to an optional remarked image and easily recognizing the imaging period when the remarked image is present.
SOLUTION: In the image display device, with a series of images picked up at two or more points of time, a time scale showing the imaging period of the series of images is displayed. The image display device includes: a remarked image select means for selecting a remarked image from the series of images a display control means, which conducts the control to display a thumbnail image 28a of the remarked image with a correspondence between the imaging time of the thumbnail image and a time on the time scale when the remarked image is selected and display a relative time 28b corresponding to the imaging time in the vicinity of the displayed thumbnail image and a selection information acquiring means for acquiring the selection information for selecting a reference thumbnail image among a plurality of thumbnail images. The display control part conducts the control to display a relative time with reference to the imaging point of time of the reference thumbnail image.
