PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an appropriate communication even if the environment of communication between a radiation image detecting device and a radiation photographing control apparatus changes due to an alteration of the technique for photographing a radiation image.SOLUTION: The radiation image detecting device includes: a radiation detecting section for detecting a radiation image of a subject by generating electric charges as a result of its being exposed to radiation transmitted through a subject a reading section for reading a radiation image signal, indicating a radiation image, from a radiation detecting section and a wireless communication section for outputting, as a wireless communication signal, the radiation image signal read by the reading section. The radiation image detecting device is provided with a photographing technique alteration detecting section for detecting an alteration of the technique for photographing a radiation image of a subject.
