The present invention relates to a novel use of rigosertib and, more specifically, relates to a use of rigosertib for preventing or treating a liver disease caused by hepatitis C virus and for resisting hepatitis C virus, capable of effectively and specifically inhibiting HCV infection without making issues about tolerance. According to the present invention, rigosertib is able to be used as a specific and effective medicine for HCV infection since the rigosertib inhibits a bond between micro RNA-122 and ELAVL1/HuR. Moreover, unlike conventional anti-HCV medicines, since HCV protein is not targeted and the activity of interstitial cell functioning molecules is inhibited, existing tolerance issues are able to be solved, and thus, the rigosertib is able to be solely used or used in parallel with a conventional medicine as a good HCV treatment solution which does not cause tolerance issues.본 발명은 리고세르팁의 신규 용도에 대한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 내성 문제없이 HCV 감염을 특이적이고 효과적으로 저해할 수 있는 리고세르팁의 C형 간염 바이러스에 의한 간질환의 예방 또는 치료용 용도 및 C형 간염 바이러스에 대한 항바이러스 용도에 대한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 리고세르팁은 마이크로 RNA-122와 ELAVL1/HuR의 결합을 저해함으로써 HCV 감염에 대한 특이적이고 효과적인 치료제가 될 수 있다. 더욱이, 기존 개발된 항 HCV 치료제와 달리 HCV 단백질을 표적 화하지 않고 인간의 간세포 작용분자들의 작용을 저해하는바, 기존에 개발된 약물에 대한 내성문제를 해결할 수 있는바 단독으로 사용되거나, 기존에 알려진 치료제와의 병용 치료가 가능하여, 내성을 유발하지 않은 HCV의 좋은 치료전략으로써도 유용하다.
