Plant growth promoting and antibiotic composition is prepared by uniformly mixing and dispersing 50-100 parts Na2O nSiO2, 10-250 parts water, 5-50 parts MgO or ZnO (or their mixture), 5-300 parts one or more than one compounds chosen from oxide, carbide, mullite or cordierite, and 1-30 parts one or more than one compounds chosen from silver, copper, brass or bronze. The oxide used above is silicon oxide, aluminium oxide, zirconium oxide, titanium oxide or iron oxide. The carbide used above is silicon carbide or boron carbide. The prepared composition can be coated on the inorganic solid surface and heated to be hardened for use.
