PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharyngeal orifice region protector that prevents possible aspiration of a dropped body or aberrance thereof into a respiratory tract during a dental or oral surgical medical care which is carried out in a spine posture, and that is easily attached to and detached from the inside of an oral cavity, and allows all teeth in the oral cavity to be visually treated at the same time while allowing a patient to optionally opening and closing the mouth during the medical care without discomforting the patient.SOLUTION: In a protector 1, a pharynx cover part 2 is configure to be deformable in shape and removable when put on so as not to trigger vomiting reflex, further a flexible annular body which abuts on an alveololingual sulcus for a maxillary dental arc and an alveololingual sulcus for a mandibular dental arch, and a body formed in a shape covering the pharynx region in the oral cavity are connected in one body.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】仰臥位で行われる歯科及び口腔外科診療時に起こりうる落下物の誤嚥や気道迷入を防止し、簡便に着脱でき、患者の違和感も少なく診療中に口の開閉が随意に出来ながら、且つ口腔内の全歯牙を可視で同時に施術できる咽頭開口部保護具を提供する。【解決手段】保護具1を装着した際、嘔吐反射を誘引させないために咽頭覆い部2の形状を変形及び削除できる構成とし、上顎歯列弓の齦頬移行部と下顎歯列弓齦頬移行部に当接する可撓性の環状体と、口腔内の咽頭部を覆う形状に形成された主体とが接続され一体となっている。【選択図】図1
