PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus easily grasping the condition around the boundary of a region of interest set in a three-dimensional image.SOLUTION: An acquisition part 171 of a medical image diagnostic apparatus 1 acquires three-dimensional medical image data obtained by photographing a subject's portion including a plurality of connected regions of interest. A calculation part 172 calculates at least one information on at least either of the volume or a motion index with respect to a prescribed region from the three-dimensional medical image data. A setting part 173 sets a first region of interest, and a second region of interest other than the first region of interest, in a region where the plurality of regions of interest are connected, by at least one boundary position set in the plurality of regions of interest. A generation part 174 generates an image which contains the plurality of regions of interest and in which the first region of interest and the second region of interest are discriminated from each other, from the three-dimensional medical image data.
