PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide therapeutic agents and therapeutic approaches for treatment or prevention of palmar plantar erythrodysesthesia (PPE) induced by chemotherapy.SOLUTION: Allopurinol or an acceptable salt thereof in the aspect of pharmacy is provided.
