PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostimulator, regardless of individual differences in thickness of an arm and position of a muscle, causing respective disposed electrodes to appropriately stimulate a targeted muscle.SOLUTION: The electrostimulator includes: a member 100 wound around an arm of a user； a plurality of electrodes 121-128 disposed on one surface 104 of the member； and a plurality of optical distance sensors 141-148 disposed on the one surface of the member. The electrostimulator applies an electric stimulus signal output from an electric stimulus generation circuit, from a specific electrode out of the multiple electrodes to the user so as to apply the stimulus to the muscle of the arm at a position facing the specific electrode, and causes the multiple optical distance sensors to detect displacement of the muscle of the arm. The partial electrodes 122 and 126 out of the multiple electrodes are disposed inclinedly at a prescribed angle less than 90° with respect to the circumferential direction of the user's arm and have a substantially rectangular shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】腕の太さや筋肉の位置に個人差があっても、配置された各電極が、目標となる筋肉を的確に刺激できる電気刺激装置を提供する。【解決手段】ユーザーの腕に巻き付けられる部材１００と、部材の一方の面１０４に配置した複数の電極１２１～１２８と、部材の一方の面に配置した複数の光学式距離センサー１４１～１４８とを備える。そして、電気刺激発生回路から出力される電気刺激信号を、複数の電極の内の特定の電極からユーザーに与えて、特定の電極と対向した位置の腕の筋肉に刺激を与えると共に、複数の光学式距離センサーで腕の筋肉の変位を検出するようにした。ここで、複数の電極の内の一部の電極１２２，１２６は、ユーザーの腕の周方向に対して、９０°未満の所定の角度で傾斜して配置したほぼ長方形の電極とした。【選択図】図１
