PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual-bearing reel by which uncomfortable feeling is less aroused in palming and the rotary position of the rotary operation knob is not easily changed against anglers intension.SOLUTION: A dual-bearing reel includes a reel body 1, and the reel body includes a frame 5, a first cover 6a, a second cover 6b, and a shaft support part 7. The first cover has a recess 6d and a circular opening 6f formed in the recess. The shaft support part is mounted to the first cover, and is relatively rotatable to the first cover. The shaft support part is pivotable between an attachment position being attached to the frame and a detachment position being detached from the frame. The shaft support part has a knob portion 34a disposed astride the opening. A handle is rotatably attached to the reel body on a second cover side. A spool shaft is supported at an end thereof by the shaft support part. A spool is mounted to the spool shaft to be rotated in conjunction with rotation of the handle.
