Ein Verfahren zur Ermittlung eines Kippsturzes oder einer Kippsturzgefahr weist folgende Schritte auf: Ermitteln der Position des Schwerpunktes und einer Standbasis eines Menschen, Ermitteln der räumlichen Verbindung zwischen dem Schwerpunkt und der Standbasis, umfassend die Schritte: Erfassen der Winkelstellung zwischen Unterschenkel und zugehörigem Oberschenkel sowie zwischen demselben Oberschenkel und dem Torso und Berechnen einer Relativposition eines Fußgelenks, eines Teils eines Fußes oder einer Fußbekleidung des Beins in Bezug zum Schwerpunkt, wobei besagte Winkelstellungen sowie die Längen des Unterschenkels und des Oberschenkels sowie eine Relativposition zwischen dem Hüftgelenk des Beins und dem Schwerpunkt verwendet werden. Ein Kippsturz oder eine Kippsturzgefahr wird daraus abgeleitet, in welchem Ausmaß zutrifft, dass sich der Schwerpunkt und die Standbasis in der Richtung der Schwerpunktbeschleunigung zueinander befinden.
