FIELD: agriculture.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular to agricultural equipment and tools, and is intended for loosening of compacted soils. Working element 1 in the compacted soil loosening method is installed at angle of 25°±5° to surface of soil with the help of impact hammer 6 and penetrate into soil at required depth. Further, working member 1 is moved forward, bringing it into a vertical position, while the working member itself continues to deepen to depth of 500–600 mm, loosening the soil and moving it forward. After one cycle, the impact lever-type cultivator is moved back to the next position, and the loosening process is repeated. Working element has nozzle 5 fitted on impact hammer rod 4. Rod 4 of impact hammer passes through lower 7 and upper 8 branch pipes with the possibility of rotation around its axis and movement downwards at deepening of working element into soil and upwards at extraction of working element from soil.
