The present invention relates to the identification and use of natural plant compounds for inducing, enhancing and maintaining beneficial rhizobacteria biofilm formation on a plant or plant part thereof, and conversely, inhibiting formation of biofilms and pellicle by plant pathogens. Methods of use for stimulating matrix production from the beneficial rhizobacteria and enhanced adhesion of the rhizobacteria to a plant or plant part thereof are also described. Methods of use for inhibition plant pathogen adhesion to biofilms are also described.La présente invention concerne l'identification et l'utilisation de composés végétaux naturels pour l'induction, l'amélioration et le maintien de la formation d'un biofilm de rhizobactéries bénéfiques sur une plante ou une partie de plante, et inversement, l'inhibition de la formation de biofilms et de pellicule par des agents phytopathogènes. L'invention concerne également des procédés d'utilisation qui permettent de stimuler la production de matrice par les rhizobactéries bénéfiques et d'obtenir une meilleure adhérence des rhizobactéries à une plante ou à une partie de plante. L'invention porte également sur des procédés d'utilisation pour l'inhibition de l'adhérence d'agents phytopathogènes à des biofilms.
